Hayden Panettiere encounters puppy love at Alpha and Omega premiere: The 21-year-old cuddled a real-life wolf cub at the premiere of the children’s film, in which she provides the voice of the female character Kate. And her fury new friend seemed to be lapping up the attention from the blonde Heroes actress. Hayden stars alongside Justin Long, Dennis Hopper and Danny Glover in the film, which follows the lives of two young wolves.

The two wolves are from opposite ends of their pack’s social order but are thrown together into a foreign land and need each other to return home. But their adventure becomes complicated when they start to develop feelings for each other. Alpha  and Omega, directed by Anthony Bell and Ben Gluck, premiered last night in London and the BFI Southbank.
